I don't like this talk of Liara being the protagonist for the next Mass Effect. I like Liara, she's a great companion, but she is who she is. It would be mind-blowingly stupid to me to go from the series having a sorta make-your-own protag to suddenly you're a pre-made set one. No. And I'm super bummed if they're not going back to Andromeda, like, ever. I get it, Andromeda bombed for a lot of people because Ryder is not Sheperd. Bringing Sheperd back is not the solution to this. Bringing Liara back in Shepherd's place is not the solution to this. Forget the Normandy, we're past that now, we're past the Reapers, let it go. The one thing Andromeda had was a compelling story that had A LOT further to go. You're just gonna leave it dead in the water? I really need to go back, and play Andromeda again. I've played the first three ME games probably ten times each, I only played Andromeda once so I get it, it's not as good, but I don't think it was as bad as everyone remembers. It's like Dark Souls 2. There are people who actively hate DS2. And it's not that bad. It's just not Anor Londo, not anymore. And that's the point. To show you the huge expanse of time in the Dark Souls universe. Kingdoms rise, and fall, and turn to dust. How far into the future is Drangleic? You don't know, it's immeasurable. What's always interested me is that the player character time travels at the beginning of the game. Why? And why to that point in time? I'll admit I've never dived as deep into DS2 lore because I agree, it's not as good as 1 or 2. But I never thought it was a bad game. You also time travel in Dark Souls 1 when the interdimensional hand of Manus reaches through time, and space to rip you back in time... and I've never really thought about it, but why would he do that? He brings you back to Oolacile where you face off first against Artorias, and then against Manus himself... After you beat Artorias you find Ciaran at his grave. Why didn't Ciaran take him down herself? I get that it was hinted at that she maybe was in love with him, but... if he's corrupted by the Abyss, and ripping a blood path through the kingdom, shouldn't you try to stop him? But Gough doesn't try to stop him either, and he's literally right there.
This is what happens when Wolfie leaves xD The video games just consume me💀
